They look good, but I would consider another leg that is in the middle of the Rocker. It would be non-sense to drop off a ledge and damage yor rocker with the guard. Just an idea, but they look awesome.

Cool thanks guys for all the compliments.

Verrive- they cost me $700 Canadian /installed. (That’s about $550 USD)
Keep in mind I had them made the way I wanted em. And Tomkin ones sell for $499 out here. Problem with those is that they would not work with my front drop brackets, and their pinch weld mounting point is weak.

MSHarnett- Cool! You’ve got pics?

johnh2os- Axle fell Off????? OMG Damn. Can't wait to see pics of yours.

batilzown- Mine attach to the frame and pinch weld. (Ill post some pics)

98Sport- Sorry to disappoint you and anyone else. Problem is to get to nice trails out here you have gravel roads with nice sharp gravel rocks that peel paint in one shot ( or you can drive 10 MPh or less). Plus it rains here ALOT. so rust is issue with chipped paint. I have to paint the rockers with something like rino liner. Once that is done ill take them off just for you

Ctavel - I’ve thought about an extra leg in the middle. I just wanted to keep wait down. My original plan was to get Detours rock rail/step/body stiffeners. Problem with em was they are 100 Lb together where mine are 60 Lb.

Ill get some more pics or diagrams online soon for you guys.

The rocker panel is a piece of the body. If you open your door and look at my link in the previous post, you can see mine, they are all dented because I didn't have rock rails. Rock rails are made to protect the rocker panels and floor, stiffen the unibody a bit, and some stick out enough to be used as a step.

EDIT: here is my passenger side rocker, dented from one of those jumping rocks, haha. Oh yeah, they also help block some muds from splashing on the body

Ok drew up a diagram hehe.

And here are the other pics.

If you look closely at the rocker you can see the touchup paint and the poor paint job Chrysler did. I hate rust.

On this pic its how it holds the pinch weld

Ahh yes the blurry full view

Hope this helps answer your questions guys.

Impressive mounting solution. How does it hold up? How well does it work as a step? Also, what's the main rail out of? 2x4 box tube?

Instead of welding nuts to the loose piece, why not drill and tap them, then a locknut for extra measure?

i no all about how it holds up at the pinch. But what did u guys do at the frame. It looks like is bolted up. Did u put long bolt threw the frame and out the other side w/ a nut? Or self tappers? Or tap the frame and tighten a bolt in? What did u do?
