if you look at the 6th pic you can see that the dring tabs go through the bumper. they are welded to the unibody tie ins. that piece of 3/4 wasnt cut to length in that pic so it looks really long

honestly i have no clue on the weight. maybe 50 pounds or so. if anyone knows how much a 5 foot peice of 2x5 tubing is then add maybe 10 pounds to it.

Acording to my steel construction manual, HSS 5x3x3/16" is 8.15 lbs per foot.
Bumper looks good. Now to find a spot to mount that stupid plastic vacume canister. What size hole is in the d-ring tabs? What size d-rings do you have? 3/4" pin or 7/8" pin?

standards for 5x2 structural tubing, rectangular:

Wall thickness, inches/Weight per foot, pounds:

0.1875/8.14
0.250/10.50
0.3125/12.69
0.375/14.29

I figure yours is .1875 (3/16"), so 5 feet @ 8.14 lbs./ft. = 40.7 pounds, plus the 10 you estimated, and ---darn, ya did good on yer figgerin'!!!

EDIT: oops, beat me to it. Except --- well I'm confused, my old logs show 5x2 (which is what nudosimmons used) x3/16 to be 8.14, while 5x3x3/16 = 9.31 lbs/ft. Maybe I'm out of date?

My bad.....I am at work and my eyes wondered off....Per Steel Construction Manual, nineth edition (green book) a HSS 5x2x3/16" is 8.15lb per foot. I messed up and typed in a 5x3.......Your reference weight and mine are close enough.
