Lookin good how long did it take to get all the link work up front done? I have been thinking about something like this for a while now was gonna do this before my rebuild and reconstruction of the rear but too much goin on. Just curious cuz I'm thinking bout doin this before winter gets here.

lol i have a build thread, just go back and check the dates

Yeah I understand that but that doesn't help with hours into was just curious.

Ohhh, hours? lol, idk, i couldnt give you an accurate number, i ususally work on it for a couple hours a day, and ive been doing it for about a month, maybe longer.

I also dont include boring details in here, which usually seem to take the most time. Like cutting down TREs, and drag links, and tie rods, shortening the upper link, allignment, a bunch of crap like that.

upgraded studs to 1/2 in the rear, torqued to RFT, and installed with red lock tight.

installed rim stiffeners, balanced tires with bbs.

drove through some deep water, got stuck in 2wd, had to get out and lock the hubs. FML.

Clutch feels XXXXed up, oh well.

Right! When working on a side project it becomes near impossible to track total hours from start to finish. It's taken me a couple weekends few hours here and there just to paint my LAs, cross members, and skids. Backing out broken bolts, trimming, grinding, ect ect... it all adds up and is hard to keep track.

Still having problems with all of the lug nuts/studs in the rear. 2 studs in the wheel spacer itself snapped when i tried taking the lug nuts off. ****in rough country POS wheel spacers.

so i went to put the wheel on without the spacer, and when i tightened down the lug nuts, 3 of the studs snapped like nothing.

Im aggrivated.

yeah i think torque specs on waggys are only around 100-110. they shouldnt snap that easy lol

today was anti jeep day, everything went wrong for me aswell. buy racing studs. not stock ones, they are stronger, but ofcourse longer too, so you gotta cut em down. We always ran the big studs with the 1'' lug nuts on the oval cars. only time I ever lost studs was when i didnt cut them short enough and some noob stuck a bumper corner in my wheel, but still it only sheered em off at the lug. i didnt lose a wheel. Broke axles before studs haha.
