Take a look here they are one of our vender's. I recently grabbed up a u-turn steering kit from them and the deal and shipping where great. I will buy from them again plus the owner (Jason) is always on the forum helping everyone with all kinds of things. If you send him a E-mail he will quickly answer and help you get the best set up for your lift and type of wheeling you do.

I'll +1 to the above. Brand new here, but ordered a new tierod and OME steering stabilizer and had some nice fast shipping and good prices.

X2 on the RE adjustable trackbar
dont forget the bracket.

....AND

Don't hold me to this, but I think the Currie tie rod uses oversize rod ends ( not the stock ones ) if that is the case you'll most likely have to install thier drag link too. Now yer talkin' about $300-$400 for the whole Currie steering deal. I just bought a Big Daddy tie rod because it uses the stock ends. The bad thing is the drag link is now the weak link.

You might want to just throw on some new TRE's till you can study up on what you want and look at different steering types inverted y,inverted T, high steer, and cross over. I studied up quit a bit before deciding on mine but what is good for me might not be the best for you. Some might disagree but I would run from any set up that has the same inverted y as stock no matter how heavy duty if you are running large tires. If you have to have a better set up till you can read up on different types grab a tie bar from a v-8 grand in the J/Y for now.

You can easily run around 6" of lift without the use of a DPA. Higher than that you should look into a high-steer setup in which case you still don't need a DPA. The only time I'd say a DPA is okay is if you are 6" or more and want to keep the stock steering (or Currie, which you asked about and is a good upgrade to stock) AND if you only use a ZJ pitman arm which is only about an inch of drop on an XJ.

Hmmm...now you got me thinking. I am running a drop pitman arm that is 1" lower then stock with my RE 5.5 lift and havent had any bump steer problems at all...YET? I hope that my T&T steering box upgrade will be able to hold up to the extra force of that 1" drop or I wasted money on some thing that doesnt work!

That's because you can usually get away with using the ZJ pitman since it is only 1" longer. If you go with the Skyjacker "cow-tongue" DPA which is 2.5" longer than stock, you will surely feel the effects of bumpsteer. BTW, one of my friends is running the same setup you have RE5.5" with ZJ pitman arm and he reports that bumpsteer really isn't an issue.

As far as the steering box is concerned the same thing applies. But here we're talking about leverage... that 1" DPA isn't going to create nearly as much leverage as the 2.5" DPA.

Im actually running the RE DPA and its only 1" longer then stock. I guess I could have just saved $65 and robbed one off a ZJ at the junk yard lol....live and learn I guess! But yeah, thier is no way I would have installed anything longer then that or I would have been just asking for trouble. I cant even believe they make them that long but it doesnt suprise me since its Skyjacker.
