Cracked Head - New or Reman?

Should I buy a new remanufactured one or have the old one machined? If you've bought a remanufactured one any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

if it's the 0331 head, you options are, buy a new one, a remanufactured one or find an 03-06 tj head, they had a revised casting of the head.

Year/engine or we have no idea what to tell you.

But yea...a cracked head is only good as a boat anchor. Never can be repaired (effectively).
