doing same basic cowl intake as ericsxj. everything is done besides the filter and im worried about correct sizes before i order. is this filter a good size to fit inside the cowl and provide enough airflow, ect

Airaid cone filter Simmit AID-700-430 $31.95

its on summit

sorry im a noob on here still and i dont know how to add pictures or i read some were you had to have a certain amount of posts or something but whatever. i did mine differently though i did not use exhaust tubing like in the other write up i just used the flex duct the entire way. its made by spectre and it was about 20$, but the filter fits perfectly into the cowl, i cut my hole a little small as i did not want to cut into into the rib that separates from the hood. don't know why i just didn't want to so i have to kind of squish mine to get it in but still a sweet setup. good luck man.

you"ll notice a little bit more noise in the cab, but nothing to crazy.
