Could you take the bumper guards off the front bumper?
I want to take them off because one of them is all messed up because my bumper has a little dent in it.
Anyone have any pics without the front guards on a stock bumper? Or would a 96 bumper fit on it? it doesn't have those annoying guards...

Yes, you can remove them. Then your bumper will look like the older model without the endcaps. http://fitchva.com/jeep/?p=52 Look at the bumper in these pics, it has the plastic endcaps removed and then is cut on an angle. Looks pretty good to me.

Are there any pictures without them?
I'm not sure what it would look like... Or could I put on a 96 bumper? Hm... What about a complete bumper replacement? A basic one for under 100? |

Heres pictures
![]() Notice in this one I can fit my finger in the gap ![]() And in this one I can't even get close to fitting it in. This is were the upwards dent in the bumper is. Which leads to this ![]() The plastic end cap doesn't fit now. By the way how do you get these plastic endcaps off? |
