Coolant leaking from block

Hi I have a 1999 Cherokee 4.0 4x4 it is leaking coolant from under the intake manifold but its above the freeze plug..the oil isnt gray so i dont think water is getting in it its a slow drip...drip...drip does it sounds like a headgasket or intake manifold gasket or iv been told 99's have a porblem with over heating and cracking the head...what does it sounds like to yall?

The 00-01's have the bad head casting. The 99 should be the older head casting. If it isn't a freeze plug it could be the head gasket. There shouldn't be coolant in the intake or exhaust.
