Comprehensive List of Accessory Manufacturers/Fabricators/Vendors

I think we ought to have a thread like this as a sticky. We can all pool our knowledge and create a comprehensive list of 1) fabricators of accessories such as lifts, bumpers, rock sliders, and body armor, and 2) vendors/sellers of such items. It would at least help ME with my research in determining WHAT to get, and then WHERE to get it. I would also think it would come in handy for others, as well.

So, what do you guys think about something like this? I'll start it off with the little I know, just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. Have suggestions, additions, improvements? Make 'em!

I hit teh NOS when I was at like 100 and my speedo bent around like 3 times, I guess I was going like 300 mph. It felt like I was sitting still, I ran out of road but luckily I was going so fast that I hit a bump and took off. I guess the Supra wing really helped out, luckily I landed in a lake and my wheels were spinning so fastz that I scrambled across it like those crazy scandanavians with their 4x4s that walk on wata. I go off of the lake just in time to hit a dirt field right before my flux capacitor quite.[/quote]

Oh, did I forget to mention? You have to send me a MO for $50 to make the list.

Just kidding.

The list is just in its infancy (assuming it takes off like I want it to), so there are LOTS of things I've (unknowingly) left off. I'll add you. Though I might have to start a new category for you. Don't think you'd fit in with lifts or bumpers, haha.

Added. Thanks.

I think I'm going to end up having to break down these categories into more specific categories. Only problem is I'm not that familiar with what all there is and how it should really be broken down. I'm at the stage where I'd happier than a pig in mud just to have a lift and bumpers, haha.

Thanks for all the additions, folks!

Thanks for the additions!

I updated the list as well as added some subcategories. Hopefully, once we get some links under each one, that'll make it more readable instead of harder to follow. I guess time will tell. I'm not sure I like the colors I picked, though. I might have to play around with colors and font sizes a bit. Anyone have a good idea of how to have categories, subcategories, sub-subcategories, etc without having 5 font sizes and 6 colors? lol

Keep 'em coming!!

EDIT - I think I have the format looking pretty good now with the use of brackets and underlining. Lemme know what you think!

Come on, folks...we're not going to let this die, are we? I thought it would be a great idea. Maybe not, though.

You can put Rock Lizard under the empty Body Armor section if you want. Performance Metal Works also has Body Armor: www.performancemw.com
