It'd be a good idea to do a SOA, and that means fabbing the perches to make them fit. So pick any axle you want and convert that. Basically the same amount of work. If you don't mind the mixed bolt pattern a GM Corp 14 bolt would be a nice axle. I can't remember if the waggy D44's have the same bolt pattern as teh 14 or not?

I'd say a minumum of 4.88's maybe 5.13's for the 37's.

Depends on how much you are willing to chop on the fenders? For an XJ you'd be looking at about 8" with no chopping. So I would guess and say 6.5" and some quality time with a sawzall.

You'll need coils, and more than likely the SOA should net around 3-4" depending on the hieght of the perches you use. You could swap in some Dakota leafs (not the main, all the ones below the main) and that should net about teh right lift.

Keep in mind the extra cost of the SYE and CV drive shaft. A D30 will probably not hold up as well with 37's. You'll probubly need to swap in a D44 up front. You'll need adj LCA and UCA's, brake lines, more than likely a DPA unless you do a high steer conversion. An adj trac bar and extend the Ebrake cable.

I think that covers most of it.

If you plan on doing a Spring Over Axle you will. the MJ is a Spring Under Axle setup. You'll need to weld up some perches for the leafs to sit on to the top of the axle tubes. You'd have to do the same with almost any other axle swap.

Waggy front and rear D44's would be a good choice.

If you don't mind me asking, why 37's?

I persoanlly would only go as large as 35's. 4.88's work with them and they are big, but not so big that D44's couldn't handle them.

If you have a long bed MJ then this wouldn't be as much of an issue, but I like a lower center of gravity too.

35's are a bit cheaper than 37's as well. You shouldn't have an issue with a 10 rim on 35's either.
