Chevy 383/400 swap

has anyone done the chevy 383ci swap in their jeep? i found it for the jeep at golen and was wondering what people experiences were....
i got to thinkin about how much an avenger supercharger is (6 grand) and how the golen 383 chevy is only about 4500 and gives u 150 percent of the supercharged 4.0's horsepower. im loving the idea of that 383 swap. any ideas?

Anything can be done with enough time, experience, and money!

Personally I like the idea of a Hesco or accurate Power stroker over a V8 install. It would save you a TON of time and money in fabrication and possibe driveline mods and adapters.

You have to consider things like, what trans and TC you plan on running. Will the engine postion necessitate a new set of Driveshafts. Will that much power be too much for the stock axles. ect.........

Not to mention that in Austin, the inspection shops will turn you away pretty quick unless it's a clean emissions legal swap.
