Cherokee XJ Radiator Question

I have a 88 XJ with a sealed system and want to upgrade to a radiator with a fill cap, what year did they start in the XJ's?

Thanks

IIRC it was 1991 when this started. It's not all that hard to convert to the open system. The most expensive part is probably the radiator.
