Anyone have a good suggestion for a kit to convert the mid 90's Cherokee to a V8? preferably a dodge engine ...

Thanks

The 5.2 would be a nice conversion, or maybe a 360 although i dont think that would fit. The problem with the dodge motor swap would be motor mounts. You would have to fab them up yourself because no one builds mounts for dodge conversions. Besides that there are other things but all of which can be overcome.

A 318 and a 360 are the same size externally. Personally I think a 360 would be a cool swap or even the newer 4.7's but as far as I know there's nothing available to make either of those swaps easy. JP Magazine had an article in last months issue about swapping in a GM small block...that just seems wrong to me though(from both a Chrysler guy and a GM guy's perspective).
