Check Engine Light Never Comes On

Check engine light never comes on. Not even during start up. I'm assuming it's burnt out unless there's a bigger problem somewhere. Where do I start and how do I replace it?

There is no check engine light on Renix (87-90). OBD1 started in 1991.

No you don't, the lack of OBD on RENIX just makes it that much more of a pain to chase down the actual problem when something does go wrong.

Didn't know I don't have one, but yeah, it's a pain not having any indication of if, when and what the problem is and I have plenty.

Below is a link to testing many things on your Renix (87-90)

If you have a basic multimeter and the ability to use it, you can test just about everything on that vintage.
