Another tip. You can buy brighter bulbs for these housings. Im not sure of a part number but I can find out for you.

Someone asked if you can use roof lights on the road. I know you cant but I do sometimes. When Im on back roads I flip them on. They have saved me from hitting a few deer. The outer lights on the bar point outwards. So they light up the sides of the roads good.

Also, If people have their brights on and I flash them to turn them off. If they dont turn them off I flip them on. They swerve a few times, besides, its fun to pull people out of ditches

Dude you have to change your avatar back! It looked killer!

Have you tried them at night yet? Also which ones did you mount up top, the fog or the driving? I can't tell if they have that yellow/blue tint on the lens. Looks good man!

My install is finally finished, they look great! I've got a 96 Xj so the gromet hole behind the seatbelt isn't there but i found another way in w/o having to drill, i'll take a picture of it. With all these lights I hope my HO Alternator gets here soon because my stock alternator probably isn't going to last that long with my stereo system. How do you post pictures, do you use the html codes you would for a website or is there another way?

hit the little yellow box with a mountain on it, then type the source of where you have it hosted from. Try imagestation if you need a free place. I use my buisness website to host it.

Send me a PM if you need someone to host em.

Hey I've got the pictures of my install and I just learned how to post them, hopefully it will work. I've foung few people elaborated on how to install the lights in a 96 or older model so I'm going to post all 5 pics and give a little explanation of each. With all the lights, I plan on eliminating the current Sun and selling light to sporting events for $300 an hour.

This is a beauty shot of the lights from the front

A shot of the back of the lights, can't see most of the wiring, just the protective case I bought at my local hardware store for $5 for 15 ft. which was more than enough.

In the 97+'s there's a grommit hole you can drill through to get inside the car, however in the 96's and earlier there is no grommit there. I found a new one that you don't even need to drill through.

I made a switch panel out of the little space in front of the shifter with a spare piece of acrylic and some black spray paint. When I was pushing the switches in I broke the 1/4" thick stuff which explains the presence of the electrical tape towards the bottom. In the near future i'm going to borrow my friend's lamanator and make a switch label to put over the broken acrylic.

A shot of the back bar lights, the center two are for backing up at night on trails etc. and the outer two face out towards the sides of the front of the car so I have a large range of vision. I also decided to include a nice shot of my custom decal. What do you guys think?

One thing I've noticed about these light is that they aren't all that strong. I broke when of them off while installing them. I was slipping and I grabbed onto one of them for support and off it went. It broke the plastic off the bottom of the light. Wal-Mart was happy to replace it though. I think that as these lights eventually get knocked off by low branches on the trail I am going to replace them with some tougher lights such as KC.......

You must weigh more than i do.. i can hang from mine and nothin happens.. just moves the lights a little out of alignment..

Well I don't weigh all that much...... but the thing is, is that I didn't even put all of my weight on it........ I just sort of pulled it to the side a bit when I was falling back...... (I was standing on the inside edge.... you know if you open the door.... the part next to the seat....) it was a little bit icy and I slipped back and grabbed on it..... Must of put pressure on the bolt which just shatterd the plastic casing on the bottom part of the light..... As for hanging off of the lights.... I wouldn't reccomend doing that too often...... after all these lights only have a thin plastic casing...
