cheap swing away tire carrier bumper
I found a link here once to a cheapish rear bumper with swing away tire carrier. I think the bumper like bolted over the existing oem bumper? I can't find the link again. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I saw one like ^his at the mall today. I wanted to rip it off and modify it to mount to my 98... grrrrr mall crawlers.

depending on how much shipping really would be i say 50 for the carrier or maybe just 75 shipped.

ide rather see the carrier on another jeep then in the trash after my 35 snaps it in half

to the OP - were you thinking about the detourusa's tailbone bumper? it's supposed to bolt over your bumper. but he/they haven't released it for sale yet. but it looks pretty slick setup

I was thinking of an aftermarket one I saw marketed by a small outfit. I did just find an OEM one I think at jy for $80 including the bumper which will simplify the installation. Is a 95 bumper the same thing as 94? thanks

That sounds like it. I must have seen a preview somewhere because the swingaway setup on there now is about $700

That's for their full rear bumper and tire carrier. And it's $640, not $700.

Tailbone is/will be considerably cheaper as it's basically just a tire carrier that mounts to your stock bumper.
