CB antenna

What antennas are you guys running? I want the smallest one possible, preferably that I could just mount on my roof. I found one that looks like an old cell phone antenna that goes on the back window but I didn't really like the looks of it. I'm not too worried about the range since I will be well within a mile of the other people I'm wheeling with.

well im using a 3' Firestick II with the door jam mount above the driver brakelight and i dont have any problems with it. i would imagine you could get a 2' magnetic mount and put it on the roof of your jeep.

Kyle where did you buy that mount from? Mine is on my bumper now but I hate it because its a major PITA to open the rear hatch and right now I'm running bumperless so I have no CB.

Haha I had a good laugh, I was expecting something small. Not a power line catcher.

I run like a 40 dollar cheapie from RadioshacK. Comes with the mount, and its Tune-able. I didnt bother to tune it. It works excellent and actually picks up and puts out pretty far. But im not into talken to people a million miles away. I use it for trails or off roading purposes only.

Mines above the drivers side tail light. A little hard to see in this pic, but it's my best one. I made the braket from some steel angle. It's on a spring and it slaps the side of the Jeep some times. I have a tiny bungy cord on it now to make it not hit.

Where do you get the bracket for above your tail light? How much do they run?
