Buying a 93 4 x 4 sport anyone know any info

I am new here I have a 2000 wrangler with 4.0 and 3.73 with lockers but I just bought a 93 4 door sport with a 4.0 auto any one know what rearend I should have any thing to look for I go to pay and pick it up this afternoon

You'll either have the D35 or the Corp 8.25 27 spline...

Take the VIN # to a Jeep delership and ask them to give you the options ordered on the vehicle. If it hasn't been modified since then you will know the proper axle and gearing.

You may also be able to have the maintenance history (if taken to a dealer) and previous owners info.

why type of jeep is it a Sport, SE, Country what. It depends but most came with a 35! both the 35 and 8.25's are good.

Yeah I would agree with taking it to the dealer.

After tough negotiation I bought the Jeep. Already in love with it. I had one just like it in 95. Big plans of what to do.
