I am looking to upgrade the rear bumper on my '01 XJ. And I kinda like to see or hear about the choices ya'll made. I'm looking for a bumper with d-rings, receiver hitch and tire carrier or at least the option of a tire carrier.

I've got this one on my 96. Good quality good fit and was priced lower than anything else I could find with the same options. It looks like it belongs there and not like alot of bumpers that don't flow with the lines of the jeep.

Very Nice RBxj, anymore pics?
Been looking for months myself, and have finally decided on the Detours, just waiting for my tax refund
C-rok's also has the options I am after(quarter guards), but I think it needs some more work on clearance, its too short!

I couldn't be happier with my JCR Stage 3 rear bumper. It's held up great. Still no rattles either. Brian and Daryl are great guys to deal with too. Great guys, awesome product.

I have the JCR Stage 4 front bumper, and really like it overall. I'll probably be considering JCR again in the summer when I do my rear bumper.

Forgot to mention another reason I like the Detours, the tire carrier is offset enough that I can still see out of the rear window, more important on a DD (like mine is) but it is another consideration. The JCR was going to be my next choice but also did'nt have built in back up lights.

JCR does offer rear lighting in their rear bumpers. It is an option.

I'm a fan of Custom4x4Fabrication's bumpers personally. IMHO their bumper is one of the best looking on the market in terms of how well it matches the factory body lines. I like JCR's too, and they've got some pretty good pricing.
This was an install on a customer's rig, before I got the tire carrier mounted. 2" receiver and d-ring tabs are optional, though IMHO it's redundant to have both (looks cool though). One nice thing about C4x4's bumpers is that you can add the tire carrier later.
Corner guards:
