Brothers pics

Here are the pics as promised from my brother. Sorry the video is so short, it sounds like he ran out of space.

These are some pics of the "new" 3 wheeler we got for free, an '84 Honda ATC 200ES Big Red, with my daughter and one of my sons.

Thanks, yeah the area is pretty sweet! Does the articulation look okay in some of the pics? Should it be flexing more for that lift, is that good?

For the last couple days, I've been sort of playing around with stuff on the bumper and now have the tire mount bolt on. I got it from a buddy for free, he said its just been sitting in his back yard, as you can see it needs some TLC. But nonetheless, I have a tire carrier now!

I also picked up two 2-4 gallon air tanks for free, one I'm going to use for my home air compressor and the second I am going to use for an OBA conversion. They both came in the od green/tan, but as you can see I painted one of them, the one that is going in the XJ.

Lookin good, lookin good! I'm at Taji, Iraq right now, and planning on doing a light build on our Cherokee (more for safety, looks, and fuel economy, while still retaining jeep off-road performance.)... The TJ will be for the more Extensive trails.

I'll be referencing this more and more for some ideas, Thanks!

+1

Food is good. I love the guys that just stand there cutting up fruit. I miss the pasta bar as well. I never eat as good back here as I do when I'm deployed

Say the word if you need anything. I hope you time goes by quickly.

Thanks, Men... I've Got my grounds pretty well covered as of now, but I appreciate the help.

This is my first tour, and back home my wife is pregnant w/ our first child, so We've got a lot going on!

Palmer, Have you noticed any real differences w/ the electic fan setup (other than the overheating mishap!) I mean as far as engine op temp, and fuel mileage? Seems like they've got a pretty decent deal on the setup right now ($275 shipped) So if it's worth it, let me know. (heck i wouldnt mind one for my TJ either!)

I went out today and finally mounted my bumper. I didn't get to mount the tire holder today but atleast I finally got the bumper mounted.. If you look close enough I messed up on some measurements so the driver side sits a little lower than the passenger side, about a 1/4", but atleast I finally have some protection in the rear. lol

Congrats on the 1st child! Sorry it tooks so long to respond, I haven't done much on the XJ for a while, so I missed this. But anyways......I love having the setup.. The temp stays spot on where I have it set, and if it the temp rises at all, the fans kick on and drop it back down. As far as fuel mileage, I'm not quite sure, I accidently busted my speedo cable when switching out to my tach gauge cluster I did notice a difference on the "butt dyno" though, which I'm sure does free up some performance and mileage since the engine isn't turning the mech fan anymore. I would definitely recommend the FFDynamics kit, plus they are really great to work with.

Thanks man! I am still needing to get some 33's, I am really looking at getting some BFG KM2 33x10.50-15's. I think I might be able to get some for about $175 each.

Its crazy how much a bumper can change the look of a vehicle. Definitely makes it look more finished. Now I am going to start tossing around some ideas for a real front bumper. My original plans for the bumper is to make them able to attach to an exo-cage of some sort. I love the look of the OR-Fab bumper so maybe I can try something like that.
