Well for what it's worth Wikipedia says they didn't change the model name to Tahoe until '94...but as far as I know now they're the same car.
Chevrolet Tahoe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It also says that GMC rebranded it's full size Jimmy with Yukon on '92 so it sounds like GMC Yukon '93 springs might work as well.

Are Mustang 5.0 generation 2 fuel injectors a direct fit, or does installation require changing wiring, etc.?

This doesn't fit completely with the Budget Junkyard Build, at least one part does...
Budget DIY SYE...
After some research I found that you could use an XJ auto front driveshaft together with a 3103-27CV yoke(might have to be new, cannot confirm which vehicles have them..still searching)

If someone could confirm which vehicles came with a 3103-27CV yoke, this should make it..at least I think one of the best junkyard mods...

This has been covered many times.

There is not viable stock application for this yoke. PowerTrain makes a replacement yoke that can be purchased pretty cheaply.

Was trying to indicate that it could also be added to the list, if you guys consider this a budget build using junkyard parts... Don't remember seeing it.
DS $20, yoke $85(new,locally). Seem like a good deal.

Saw somewhere that exploder rear hatch supports will work on an xj. They said they were stronger, but a little shorter.
Dakota soft brake line is a bit longer than a stock xj one (have, not installed yet).
Obviously exploder and ranger rims can be used, some have better offset.
k5 blazer blower motor is supposed to bolt in to an xj and be more powerful.
Ford windstar v6 should have the same injectors as a 5.0 mustang, and there's 6 of them.
ZJ front coil isolators are a lot thicker than xj ones, and have a metal core so they can be stacked (been running 2 each side for 6 months with no sign of damage, I trimmed them so they fit together better).
80s Mercedes coolant bottle looked like it would replace a renix one nicely. Also a mk2 jetta one

Hey checking into the JK shock deal. I saw it said to use JK shocks for 3-4" of lift. But when I look up the specs on stock XJ shocks vs. stock JK shocks, the stock XJ shocks are .5 inch LONGER than the JK shocks. This tells me that the JK(also the same for TJ looked that up too) are actually no advantage over using your stock shocks. What I did find is that the YJ shocks are 2.7 inches longer in the front than XJ's and shorter than the XJ in the rear.
Heres are the messurements as per Monroe Suspension:
vehicle position compressed extended travel
XJ front 13.0 21.125 8.125
JK/TJ front 12.5 19.875 7.375
YJ front 15.5 23.875 8.375
XJ rear 12.375 20.375 8.0
JK/TJ rear 12.5 19.625 7.125
YJ rear 11.625 18.250 6.625
So it looks like the YJ front will work up front on an XJ. Just need to swap over the bar pin from the XJ to YJ shocks or use bar pin eliminators. As for the rear shocks, could use the front YJ's if you fab up an upper mount to convert the stud to bar pin. FWIW.

I think a suzuki samurai had comparable control arms.
