Broken shock bolt
so I was working on putting my new shocks in this afternoon and as I was turning one of the right rear top bolts I snapped the head right off. I was wondering if their is any way without drilling it to get it out? maybe pull out my carpet and turn it from the top? any ideas? this is my DD so i'm sunk as of now

With the shock out of the way, you might be able to reach the upper end of the bolt and turn it by hand.

just punch it out from the bottom with an air hammer and feed a new bolt in from the top.

Scottmc01 is exactly right, Punch her out then run a new one from the top. Once you get it out, takes all of 5-10 min to finish it.

When i replaced mine, all four HEADS snapped off, but i did my research, and found out that the numerous write-ups on this forum fit the application perfectly. With that being said, here is mine:

This just happened to mine last night. It was only one bolt though. We drilled it out and re tapped. Worked great.
