Brake line hanging?

Went wheeling over the weekend and even though I was following a bronco on 35" m/ts there was a fair amount of thick ice in puddles that he broke up. now I had all new brake lines put in at the end of summer I'm not sure if my brake lines supposed to be hanging like this the other side isn't if it is how could I fix it

E Brake...All XJ's Ive Seen Hangs In That Same Location...

You are missing the retainer spring...
Here's a pic of mine. The driver side spring is at the top, and the passenger side cable can be seen in the background:

Well mines a 99 Its certainly possible I ripped off the retainer spring in the ice

97-up are a bit different. You should be able to pull the shock off the bottom mount and run it over the top of the tube.
