Bolting a transfer case to a 2WD transmission

I have 2 1988 Cherokee transmissions bolted on to 4.0L engines 1-2wd and 1-4wd. Can I bolt the transfer case on the 4wd to the 2wd transmission? They look the same but I don't know if the output shafts are the same.

Output shafts are different. you can swap output shafts but you have to tear apart the whole trans. better off swapping the trans and transfer case together.

I'm not saying we should kill stupid people... Just get rid of all the warning labels...
