Body panel stuff...

Whadya do when the whole truck looks good other than something like this here...



Could you just take it off and heat it up somehow, set on it's side and let gravity reshape it? Or would it be better to just peel it off and replace it with a straight one, either from a jy or new?

Also, whats a good solvent to use for getting the double sided tape residue off?

You'll never get it back to both original shape and length now that it's been warped. Better to pull an undamaged strip from a junkyard. A local paint shop should be willing to mix you a little bit of matching touch-up paint if yours has oxidized and factory replacement stuff wouldn't match. Otherwise you can get the color code of the door sticker and buy cans of MOPAR touch up paint online.
