Blown Head Gasket or Cracked Head (Head is off w/ pic)
So i replaced my 0331 head last weekend and now i am looking at the bottom wondering if it was actually cracked or if it was just a blown head gasket. There are what looks like exhaust leaks from the 2 and 5 cylinder into the water jackets... and i have searched the thing for a crack. If there is one, it isn't obvious and there are no orange leaks. Anything helpful would be great because if it isn't cracked I'm selling it! Thanks

If it is a problem i can IMG them here. The blown head gasket seems pretty apparent from the pictures but the closest thing i could find to a crack has none of the orange leak looking stuff like the other two... thanks!

take it to a local shop and have it magnafluxed. it's not worth taking a chance. a lot of times, the cracks are so small you can't see them anyway.

You had a suspected 0331 head leak/crack so you pulled the 0331 head and never took it to be checked, then you went ahead and bought a second head and installed it. Now that you're done with the repair/replacement you're wondering if the 0331 head you replaced was even bad to begin with........and if it's not, you want to recover the money you spent on the replacement head by selling the 0331 head to someone else so THEY can take the risk of it cracking on them. That strikes me as......shady. Seems like the best use for any 0331 head is scrap metal.
