Black XJ's Rule!

Two changes this week...well actually three.
1. Changed my handle from PhilRob56 to AussieXJ. Felt that AussieXJ was a "kewler" handle!

2. New BLACK! paint.

3. Arrived home today with brand spankin' new 31x10.50's.

The only pics I've got are from Saturday after picking up the baby from the paint shop.
Pics of the new tires to come.

LOL!
I've been busy emptying out the bank. The "Boss" is now saying that I can't take it off road 'cos I'll scratch the new paint.

Here's a quick pic I snapped this morning with the new tires. Ok, Ok, before I get slapped around, I know they're Dayton's but I just couldn't afford BFG's this time around.

Now all I need is Disco's, Front Hitch, Bullbar, Winch,
Rear Tire Carrier, SYE, Second and Third jobs......

Hey man, don't sweat it. I had some Daytons on my old Nissan 4x4 and I gave that truck hell. I never had a bit of problem out of those tires. They lasted forever and did a great job in mud. I think mine were a little beefier though.

Your Blackie XJ looks great! Keep it up.

brcomputer

The paint job ran to $750.00.
Found a backyard guy who does truck restorations. He sand-blasted some rust spots, pulled a dent in the door and painted all the plastic trim to match.

I think I got good value.

Geeze, Mud goes great on black!
