Great! You ought to share a write-up about them on the forum using your XJ as the test bed. I'm interested to know the difference between them and the 9000's I have on mine now.

That jeep is something JEEP would use to advertise their cherokees. OMFG it's so nice!

I have a question about rusty's flares. Did you order the standard or flex flares?

Thats what I do with mine! I just got it really muddy saturday and spent 3 hours yesterday detailing the engine bay. Steve, whats up next for your XJ? Oh I found out about the aFe intake. The one you have is a no go, but they make another for abs models thats only a few $ more, but the heat shield is mounted in the same location and just as sealed, which is my favorite part about the aFe intake, the fact that its sealed top and bottom. Its the best CAI I can find for one who offroads in mud and sand and forest. My guess is you will really enjoy it as much offroad as you will onroad.

Haley-
Good news about the aFe intake. I was impressed with the quality and performance of mine, as well as the design of the heat shield. Did you order yours yet?
My next mods: -Roof rack with spare tire mount
-Rear disc brakes
-Upgraded front brakes
-ACOS, so I can get it leveled out
I'm nearly finished with these mods and will be posting pics and thoughts soon

No I gotta save up for the intake. More important things need to take place like a coolant flush, thermostat and coolant temp sensor, belt, cap rotor wires. Maybe for christmas though . If I'm lucky I can get that from my dad, pacesetter headers from the BF, and just save myself for the exhaust and have one awesome jeep by my b-day in february . What disc brakes are you going with? What rack?
