Registered User | yes, the 97+ are a little bigger and can easily be swapped to the pre 97's. __________________ When I die and go to heaven I hope the first thing God says to me is "The bar is right this way." |

Registered User | ya....come to think of it the mirrors are really small. ...you could put those rectangle mirrors that have the brackets on them. ( like on the big diesels) that would look kinda funny though. __________________ "Rusty" 1987 Jeep Cherokee XJ. 4.0L. 4X4. NP242. 3.5" RE superflex kit. RE Twin Tube Shocks. Registered User | The problem with me and XJ mirrors is that where I like to sit, the window strip obstructs my view. __________________ Chris a.k.a. "Mickey" I always manage to buy absolute junk and putting tons of $$$ in it. No such thing as a good deal. |

Senior Member | ![]() Easy swap. Bolted right up, I had manual mirrors, and these are power, so I just shoved the wire in the door, like said above, and adjusted them once by hand and they've been fine since. These mirrors are definitely bigger, and I recommend the swap. __________________ 1998 White ZJ Laredo: 5.2/249 // d30/d44a // BB // MX6's // 1.25" Spidertrax Wheel Spacers // 30x9.50x15 BFG A/T's // FM50 // Leather and stuff |

Registered User | This is a great upgrade!! Does anyone know if they offered the "manual remote" mirrors (cable adjusted) in the 97+ style or are they all electric?? __________________ 1994 XJ Sport 4" ProComp Lift with full leafs Rock Krawler Wheels/X-treme Mud Terrain 31x10.50 Banks Torque Tube w/Dynomax Super Turbo Cat-Back K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit |

www.lp.org | The later mirrors fold in too, which is a handy feature when wheeling. My driver side mirror has been hit a few times and is just hanging on by a couple of threads on one of the bolts. It vibrates horribly at freeway speeds. 97+ mirrors are one of the things on my to do list. __________________ "'Did you ever wonder why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?
