I've got the EverStart Maxx in mine. Good warranty and Wal-Mart is everywhere, incase it goes out on the road and you have some warranty left.

Pick the battery up. the heavier battery means it has more lead. More lead is longer life. Wal-mart products are not known for longer life. Do yourself a favor, is wal-mart going to help you replace? will wal-mart have the dealer support? Will you leave wal-mart with a good felling? And was wal-marts product made in usa?

I have received warranty service at Walmart at 1 o'clock in the morning. Try that at Napa, the dealer or any other parts store.

Actually, the best time for battery warranty service at Walmart is after the auto shop closes for the day. The folks at customer service have no way to test the battery; all they can do is give you a refund. Then you can buy a new battery, where ever you want. (Many battery warranties will only give you a credit for one of their batteries, using full retail price for the calculation, meaning that a warranty exchange can wind up costing more than a new battery purchased outright.)

Was the rest of your Jeep made in the USA? Mine sure wasn't.

Walmart batteries are made by Johnson Controls, same as the majority of other batteries sold at retail.

I seldom leave NAPA with a good feeling. Usually because I called in advance to check on the price of a part, then the price goes up while I am driving to the store.

Yes they will, my first one was cranking slow after 3 or 4 years, took it in, they tested it, didn't have the receipt and they gave me a new one....no charge no questions asked!! Talk about replacement service!!

Help you replace the battery. now I know most of you are not use to this type of service, but most napa's will (get this) walk out to your car and help you put it in.......wow I can say with most accuracy that yes my jeep is made in the USA along with my tools and I make D*M* sure that my parts are made in USA. I know that I may pay more for a part but in two years I won't have to replace it with anther china part. Also for you people that don't do your research napa has a nation wide network, you can call up napa and ask where the closest dealer is and they can get you there. the battery in question has a 75 month guarantee on it. first 18 months is free replacement. after that is it pro-rated. I also know that there are shops almost anywhere in the usa that carry the napa nation wide guarantee. Now i know that some of you it is hard to stay away from the big white light of cheap china plastic (oh and lead/other poisons ) but wal-mart will keep giving you just enough to get you by. If you want to cheap stuff, ask napa they can get it for you. If you want O.E. quality part that they carry on the self! Some times if you look closely you will find when you open the box is wow it says ford/gm/mopar on the part. that is because NAPA makes the part/or will buy the part for/from the O.E. You shop at wal-mart type auto part stores youu get cheaper parts, but ask yourself why don't people that get paid to do the service get there parts from these store? Because there is no guarantee.... If the part fails the shop has to pay the labor to fix. NAPA/ Carquest etc pays for the shop to fix the problem. Just for the record. napa battery's are EXIDE. Which runs most of the battery's in this nation.

If your Jeep was completely made in the USA, you have a very rare Jeep. On my '88, the windows are from Mexico, the starter from Japan, the wheels and brakes from Canada and the ignition system is from France.

Walmart batteries are absolutely guaranteed.

Do you make a habit of saying things when you have no idea what you are talking about?

I think you guys are missing the point, Napa is 100% American, why are we bashing this guy? Hes just trying to support "OUR ECONOMY" and not China's.

Then he should have said that rather than spewing a bunch of nonsense that had nothing to do with any question the OP asked.

Oh yeah, Wal-Mart is part of "OUR ECONOMY".

Hogwash. If you think that all NAPA parts are made in the USA, you are severely mistaken.

Speaking of missing the point...
