depends on the S-10 pack.

i have a '93 2wd 3 leaf pack, and just the main gave me 2".

if u have HD packs with 4 leafs, you may get more from just the main, or if you use two, you may over shoot the 3" mark.

its kinda trial and error i think...

My ride is better with the bastard pack than with an AAL... Pick your poison.

yea, the ride depends on the S-10 leaf/leaves you choose to use.

the main leaf that i used ('93 2wd, 3 leaf pack) gave me right at 2" (matches a coil spacer perfectly) but the ride is slightly rougher. nothing im complaining about, but rear flex did decrease as well.

i say who cares, its only a temporary thing anyway.

I used the S10 main, the S10 second, and the S10 third all under my XJ main. I got 3.5" and the ride isnt all that bad.

I used the Main and the second S10 leaf with the rest of the XJ pack (minus the second XJ pack) and it netted me about 4" of lift.

Down side is it doesn't flex quite as well as the AAL packs, but the plus is that it flexes enough and I don't have to worry about bump stops!

Ride is firm, but only a bit firmer than the AAL packs. The secret to a smoother ride is a long set of shakles.
