Axle Nut Keeps Coming Loose!!!!!!!!
My Axenut Comes Lose A Mile Exactly After Being Tightend. I Thi It May Be The Bearings Or The Hub. Any Ideas??????

Did you torque it to 175 ftlbs? Those suckers have to be tight.

Really....I crank those suckers down with a breaker and put all my weight on that thing to get it as tight as possible, never had one come loose, and they come right off w/ impact.

Yeah if you have the washer and axle nut torqued to 175lb/ft and the cotter pin you should have no problems.

i actually have it tore apart right now i was told the bearings may b shot, i did torque it to 175, i do not have a retainer but it hasnt since i bought it and i have been in some deep mud and been doing some climbing, ive had it about 6 months and it just now started doing it. thanks for the help and let me know what u think about it being the bearings!!!!!!!!!

Finally Got It Fixed, The Hub Had Came Apart And Bent My Axle And Rotor, Got It Back Together And Made A Few Upgrades While I Was In There, Thanks For The Help

Please put a retainer between the cotter pin and the axle nut.
