No, those ones are junk. Anything that says "diamond" in the title is the wrong thing.

Here's the ones you want

nope, i have heard the diamond cut are not as good light pattern. The good ones look stock but have a really good light output. when you order them i wouldn't get them with the city light option it really messes with the highbeam pattern. it cuts a strip right down the middle. they look cool hooked up to the turn signal though

I just ordered a set off EBAY also I went with the eCode pattern, i really doubt that the inspection shops can tell the difference, they may be shocked by the output but not gig me. either way I am gonna keep my old light around just in case.

Any one get these with the "city lights" I know what the are, just want to see what they look like in an XJ.

I know they cut in to the high beam pattern, but all of my driving is in the "city" so my Highs are never really on

I had a cheap pair with city lights before I bought my autopals. They wouldnt fit in the factory light buckets with the city bulbs in, you would have to drill or cut a clearance hole for them. So I just taped ober the city bulb hole and ran without them.

the city lights are just a little bulb in the bottom the main reason i got them is so that the hole would be there for if i wanted to put some strobes in or something. i still have the clear in but i am also going to try blue it will just give off a light blue glow. only problem is i have DRL's so they wont stand out as much.

You won't notice to much of a difference unless you upgrade the harness as well. I put in the Rampage H4 conversion instead of the plastic conversions. I saw a small difference until I put in Bigoffroads.com upgraded headlight harness, what a HUGE difference!!!!!! Easy install and one of the most obvious differences I have ever seen in lighting! As far as city lights they are usless unless you want to glow some other color in your headlight housing. They don't put out any useful light.

The harness (at least on mine) will make a bigger difference than the lights- even the cheap 14awg ebay harnesses. I'd at least throw one of those in at the same time as the lights.

I used this, which is suspiciously similar to BOR's "custom made" harness, for a lot less money. Pair of Autopal Ecodes with 60/55s. Cheap, works good. Better than my Silverstars and a lot better than stock sealed beams.
