Exactly what the title says any tips for installing a front locker. Any parts i should replace for preventative matienence. I.E seals, ujoints.? any? Please let me know about your install for a front aussie locker how long did it take you. Was there any tools that were special that where needed? Or just any type of front locker. How long did it take you?

Thanks

Took me about 3 hours. Special tools, um pickle fork, and air tools make the job 10 times easier. Also a hub puller helps on stubbern rusty hubs. Other than that, it went down without a hitch.

Yep, seems right with the exception that at least on xj's those 3 hub bolts are 13mm 12- point, not ½". But I guess ½" works just as fine (½" = 12,70mm) as long as you can make it fit on the bolt head.

Its not all that hard. Toughest part is pulling the hubs and getting however old rusting bolds holding them in, off. I used a chain on the lugs then tossed the lug nut back on and gave it a few good tugs.
