Its the shadows in the pic.
The gap between the left and right half of the locker is different on the top and bottom. Make sense?

In other words: the halfs look like this: / \ instead of: l l

Sometimes I forget that sarcasim does not come across on these boards sometimes.

Its the shadows that make it look funny. They is an equal gap between the cam gears.

Hrmm, I don't know how it's a shadow/camera issue when both the center and ends look offset. But hey, if you don't see a problem, I'll take your word for it.

Because they AREN'T offset. The flash creates a shadow that makes them LOOK offset, but in actuality they are parallel. Like this: | |, not this: / \

Guys try looking a little closer (i.e. Zoom) you will see they are not cocked. If someone really doesnt believe they are and wants to buy me some gear oil we can settle it real easy.

I bought one shortly after thay came out with the 29 spline 8.25 unit. The install was cake. Everything went together like it was supposed to. A week after I got mine installed I drove down to Houston from Wichita and back again and the Aussie performed perfectly although a little thuncky around the corners. Every once in a great while it will bang out fairly loudly, usually if I let off the accelerator mid or late turn. So far I've only heard this twice.

I haven't had the opportunity to really put the Aussie through the paces off road yet but, I can tell you it is a great improvement in traction. I have a little, out of the way, testing ground with several short, but steep hills. Previously, I have never, even under the best of conditions, made it up one of those hills without the aid of the front axle. Post Aussie is a completely different story. I've been out there four times recently in both wet and dry conditions and I've driven up every hill in two wheel drive. Like I said, i haven't done anything really spectacular but, the difference in traction is immediately evident.
