ARB dana 30 high pinion
Is there a difference between the dana 30 high pinon and the low pinon? I keep searching through applications for ARB air lockers for my 91' XJ and all i see for the front is Dana 30, not Dana 30 high pinon. So are they the same? And where is the best place to get ARB air lockers online? thanks

i thought the high pinion was reverse cut from the factory? i need clarification here cause i just talked to a guy at a 4x4 shop and he said all high pinion diffs are reverse cut. and why do some say 3.73 and up & 3.92 and up.....what the hell? I am duely confused on this matter.
got it! I have the 10bolt DANA 44 rear end out of an 87' XJ in my 91" XJ along with the STOCK high pinion front diff. so a good way to determine DANA 30 from DANA 44 when dealing with parts is to pay attention to the numerical breaks?
hey does 764 bucks seem sketchy and too low for an ARB air lockers? how do i tell if its a knock off? wont it say? just lookin for feedback
Once you add in the cost of other parts (e.g. the compressor/OBA stuff, which isn't included in that kit) you'll be in for at least $1000...

Look on Northridge4x4, David has great prices over there. As far as the compressor goes, as long as you can get the right pressures to the lines and get it to turn on when you need it, then any will be fine... But the ARB compressor comes with a Contura switch and wiring harness. For only $229 for the heavy duty version at Northridge and IIRC $139 for the regular, just get the ARB one!
