I just got some Durabak last month and I plan to do mine when I gets warmer.

Hey Martin, did you spray or roll. Some one ealier was telling me about this special sprayer that you can buy from Harbor Frieght but I couldn't find it. They said it was something for undercoating that could handle the think paint and doesnt't spray all over the place. I have no idea, but anyway, yours looks great, I'm doing the hole inside, rear, front, everything

I did the Durabak in the cargo area of my jeep. I just painted it on, so it doesn't look all that great right now, but I need to throw down another coat to finish it and I was going to roll it on for that. Just waiting for it to warm up because the fumes from that stuff'll make you loopy And you're rig will stink for about 2 weeks afterwards. All in all it looks good and it's tough stuff. oh yea and GottaBe nice job, that looks good!

I rolled it, and used cheap wooden handle horse hair brushes from Wally World for all the tight spots the roller couldn't get. I know most O'Reilly's have a bedliner spray gun for about $40. I don't know if it works, but that's where I have seen them.

Oh cool, thanks alot. I wonder how that works though. I mean if your doing undercoating its gonna be up side down, so the paint won't feed unless its completly full, right? I'll get one anyway, I mean 6 bucks, wooo.

One more question, under the carpet in the rear is a black rubberish mat like thing. Did you guys paint right over it. Did you sand the interior paint?

Yep, painted right over it. Use some 100 grit sand paper, and scratch side to side, then up and down (or visa versa) to get a good rough pattern. Don't keep sanding the area down, just scratch it once and move on.
