I took the stereo put of my 08 f150 and am putting it In the 96 cherokee. It has an aftermarket antenna adapter will that work?

Most auto radios use a "Motorola" plug. A Motorola plug is similar to an RCA plug, it has a longer center pin, the shell fits into the radio housing. RCA plugs are typically the red and white audio jacks found on TV's and stereos.
If you have or had a marine radio, the connector may be different in which case you will need an adapter

It used the same one. However.... Jeep switched the wiring harness in 96 then back to the old one in 97 or 98 so the best buy harness didn't work. Had to get the 1002 to do the wiring correct.
