The headers should just bolt up to the down pipe (except Pacesetter, slip fit).

Here is another thread I started regarding eliminating the two cats in the down pipe and O2 sensors.

Of the ones listed, I'd go with Banks, Borla, or JBA, all three have a reputation for putting out quality stuff. That being said, I haven't heard much in the way of how the two, 3 pipe headers are working out, because the single 6 pipe manifolds are notorious for cracking.

these headers keep the pre-cat in place, so in that case you dont need to get the eliminators. But what is the advantage to remove these cats? Is there a header that removes them? Ow else can you remove them if u get one of theses headers?

The Clifford's couldn't possible retain the stock precats. Or they move the precats way down the line from the head. It would take the precats longer to get up to temp. If you get them? Warm her up well before getting your tail pipe sniffed and try not to do it on a cold day like were having now.
The manifold mounted O2s are also mounted in tube 2 and 6. Not in the collectors. This mounting point only samples one cylinder. Not giving a true sample of it's bank. Still this will work fine unless a injector goes bad or compression drops bad on 2 and/or 6.
I really like the tubes that go down and get away from the intake as fast as possible. Much less chance of heating up the intake then most can of worms headers offered. (IMO) Fewer bends for the gases to make also.
There is several down side to them but with the right setup some real HP could be added over 2500 RPM.(((IMO)))

I've had my borla , (which includes down pipe to the cat/ gasket for both type exhaust ports / stickers AND a hat) for 3 years now.
It's hooked to a Flowmaster exhaust and cat,with a 2000
intake manifold swap I've got great power throughout the
powerband and a good sound.

Btw I had mine jet coated for towing..it's all good
