Vacuum line help

I found a blue vacuum line that broke in half and can't find what it is for on my 89 xj

Air only blow from defroster vent

I'm new to this jeep thing so, Air would only blow at defroster vent and not anywhere else on my 89 xj, any help or suggestion would be great

I'm new to the jeep repair thing.... the air would only blow from the defroster vent under the windshield and not anywhere else, help

That said, defroster only is usually a vacuum leak or a problem with the actuator linkage under the dash.

On one of my '98s, it was the vacuum reservoir. It was missing. Kind of weird, it would work at certain times, then not.

That could be one of two things.

but most likely because of the color, it's for the vacuum shifted front axle.
