AC fan blows fuse.

I few weeks ago my blower fan blew the fuse. I changed out the fuse a few times, but it never worked. It always blew as soon as I tried to turn the fan on. I still believe the AC and heat work, I can put my hand right next the the vent and barely feel the cold/hot air. Does anyone know what might be a problem with this? Maybe a bad fan motor? or something else?

It will keep blowing til you find the short. Most likely you have an exposed wire that's causing a short to ground. The fan could be the cause but you can easily test it with the ohmmeter mode of a volt meter. Resistance leaning to zero indicates a bad motor.

Alright, thanks! I'll try to look for any exposed wires. I'm still new to the Jeep world and still learning how to repair things. I might stop by an auto parts store to see if they can test my fan.

I had the same issue and looked for a short, hopefully you find your issue quickly, mine raN HOT without the fan and Not using the ac.

Mine wound up being the fan motor itself, hit up Napa and done
Good Luck
