AC evaporater replacement

does anyone have the procedure for doing this in a 97 cherokee

Go over to Jeeps Unlimited. There is a guy over there that did a write-up with pictures. His name on the forum is "Silver XJ".

I don't own an XJ any longer, but I still think they are the best of all the Jeep products ever made. My XJ was my favorite vehicle in my 50+ years of driving.

buy a Haynes manual. It does involve removing the entire dash. If you are going to do it, you should also replace the heater core while you are in there. It will save you the trouble of removing it later....
