nice place to start from - i'd start by removing the "pep boys" accessories (rear spoiler, tail light covers) and picking up some unpainted interior bits at your local salvage yard.

edit: see your list of plans - looks good!

haha, yeah your right. the spoiler is bolted to the rear hatch. can i remove it without leaving holes in the hatch? The running boards are gonna go too as soon as i get the AJs rails.

since buying it I wanted a better sound. because I'm cheap I went with the Dynomax. It does sound better...just to my standards.

alright the "pep boys" tail light covers are off and the spoiler is off, now all i have to do is cover the holes that the spoiler screwed into. whats a fast, cheap, easy way to cover these holes and still make it look good?

well finally got some plastic plugs with rubber washers to keep the rains out. I installed after applying small amounts of plastic glue to the stoppers to hold in place.

here it is with the removal of the "pep boys" gear

Good start lol. I was gonna say Lowes sells Hillman plugs that you can put in the holes. I had them on my mustang when I took of the spoiler and they sealed up perfectly, didn't even need glue.

looks good.

thats only the second jeep ive seen with the factory running boards.

CherokeeXJ, had them, but he removed them for some rockrails. if u remove em u gain some ground clearance on the sides, but for right now i like it.
