99 Cherokee Electrical Issue - Started with Windows

Hey all - so I'm fixing up my 99 Cherokee (replaced by a 99 Wrangler ), and ran into an unexpected issue. The other day, a storm (of course, wasn't forecasted) hit our area pretty hard and all four windows were down a little less then three inches.

I waited a while, before I tried rolling up the windows, but up nor down will work! I let it set a few more days in the heat, but the issue persisted and seemed to expand. I've noticed that my dome light, windows AND LCD illumination for the odometer does not work.

I'm presuming there is a short somewhere, but I'm not sure where to start. Thanks in advance!

First check fuses on passenger side panel, using a voltmeter. Just measure the tabs on each fuse, with the key on they should all have power. From there. remove the drivers side door panel and clean the combination switch.
