Re-did every ground I could find. Changed most with 4gauge. And replaced all the battery cables. Put in a pic of the brown dogs that are finally in ... love those mounts, really could tell a big difference when I changed those and the trans mount.

Also, in some treads on jeepforum about changing battery cables, it said to use longer cables because the stock length would barley reach, so that's what I did and I think that was a bad idea. I have a toooon of extra cable, they were all way too long, and the longer the cable the more resistance the cable offers, which is not a good thing ... so If I were to change them again I would just keep the stock length not go longer like a lot of threads recommend.

Got the valve cover on ..... My old one had a bad grommet and both the valves were broken .... Also it had a small crack on one side of the edge near one of the bolts, so I just got a new one. I was going to get black but I ended up getting red. I have to say .. I like the red valve cover.

This is a really well built xj I posted this on jeepforum a while ago... I ended up talking to the guy who built this and hes a really nice guy. Thought I would post this up again. I'm planning on skinning my doors like he did, I had found this jeep when doing some searching. I heard you can buy just the door skins for an xj door but I cant find them anywhere, I would love that. But If I can't find that, I'll just start the cutting...

Heres a video with the doors

Appreciate the shout out! Sorry I can't locate that link. I may have lost it over time.

Just remember you'll need quite a bit of 5/16" roundbar to make your soft door frame to mount the skin too. If you just hard mount, you'll have to play Dukes of Hazard every time you get in.

Put a new PCM/ECU in today. Things seem to be running really well, idle is still a bit rough but much much better than it was. The hesitation is gone and so is the $check engine$ light ...... For now ........

What was wrong with your last ECU?

On page 5 post 65 you can see all the codes I was getting. It felt like a tps issue, idle rough, misfire, die when you let off the gas, and a bunch of other things. I changed all the wires and the grounds, new sensors all around but I was still having trouble.

I was putting out a code for everything the PCM controlled. I cleaned it again, checked the grounds, zip tied the connectors, but no improvement. It still may not be the PCM ...with the old pcm, when testing, I was getting inconsistent resistance as well as voltages to the tps??? So I felt like it may have been a ground but I have checked them all over and over, soooo well see how the PCM works. I have to say it drove almost perfect today ....so well see. Ill give it the 50 starts test.

Over the next few weeks I have the injectors to put in and a msd 6a. I want to upgrade and relocate the altinator, and get the genright pully, then move on from the engine and start working on armor and a cage.

It really could have been multipliable factors .... I was gone for a while and my buddy had my jeep but it never really ran right from the beginning and when I got back it was owned and wasn't really driveable, but its running well now

Here's the fuel cell I have. I'm still not sure if I'm going to use it, for LCOG it might be a lot better to just run a jcr gas skid, they work really we'll, so well see.

The other big thing is cargo space, I like my cargo space. I use my rack and trunk all the time. I need a bigger rack.... But I hate to take up the trunk with a fuel cell or even just moving the stock tank up a little.... Idk

If I do put it in, it will be after the injector, msd and altinator, which will be soon I think, the jeep seems to be running well.

The check engine light came back on with the new ECU, but I know I have an evap leak somewhere so I hope that's the only code. Going to go pull them today.

Score .... Found an MJ on Craigslist for $500. I put down a few $$ and my buddy got it, he's been wanting to get one forever. Realllly nice condition, just doesn't run, not getting fuel. Deal was I put down some cash and I kept the tailgate ... Scored an mj tailgate. Hope to have it on soon.

Not really a great pic but here it is

Another bad cell phone pic of the jeep just sitting there waiting for an MJ tailgate.

And change of plans. My buddy found another tailgate for me so he could keep the one that is matching his truck. Here's the new one, its a little rough and missing the latch but I can work with it.

Came out this morning and the jeep was gone .... ****ers ..... Taken....... kidnaped and help for $150 ransom ...... Towed for improper parking .....errrrrrr

Here's a picture from its captivity. I have to admit, it really pissed me off to have the jeep towed. I seriously didn't say or speak one word when I went to get it back...... I knew if I opened my mouth I would have ended up in jail, I really don't like people ****ing with my jeep. It was tempting to just get in and drive though their little bull**** fence, but the cops just are never cool about that kind of stuff, so I just got *** raped for $150.

You should get some for sure .. I have to say I really like them and their super solid. I hope jcr is going to have their tax return sale ... I'm getting on that for sure.

I decided to wait to put the tailgate on until I get a new rear bumper, I'm worried about the tailgate opening but at the same time I don't want to leave a huge gap, so Ill just wait and when I have the bumper on Ill do the tailgate right, so I dont just have to redo it.

I'm eyeing the JCR rear cut and fold bumper.. I like
