? .... I do have one of the blastic battery boxes, I'm going to get a second one for the second battery, but first I have to make an alt bracket and get a bigger alt, and get rid of the factory air box and get one of those spectra cone filters

I got it just for the second battery, but I kinda liked it ... So I used it for the battery I already had, and ill just get a second one when I'm ready.

just got a switch for the E Fan .. I think im going to take out my radio and put a trans gague and the efan switch there, and maybe one other gauge.

Good luck with the efan switch

Make sure you disco the battery, as the PCM (controls the fan) is a ground wire, and if done incorrectly say goodbye to your PCM. :P

I have a 2 way rocker for my fan switch, gonna wire it up for ON to be on, and OFF to be thermo controlled.

You must have missed my fan set up ... I chopped the machinical fan and have 2 e-fans, one runs all the time and the other I control from the cab..... It's all ready wired and working .... I'm just changing from a basic switch to the style switch I want. I was running a ford sho fan but switched to a fan from an Audi turbo.

I'm not really a big fan of the auto control. I like to be in control of the cooling fan, just because I like to turn it on before I know my engine is going to be hot... Like if I have been driving hard and then just come to a stand still, or traffic in the FL summer, or if I'm about to go wheeling, or towing... then I just turn it on.


The main trans cooler is in front of the fan that runs all the time. The 2nd stage trans cooler is in front of the 2nd stage fan.

I used the ford SHO fan .. it was ok .. I switched to an after market fan for an Audi A8 upgraded single mount turbo .. that fan kicks ***.. and it fits PERFECT and its very slim... check out my pics.


I wired the main 1st stage E-fan to a relay and then to the fuel pump relay. so it kicks the fan relay on when the fuel pump relay is kicked on... so if the car is getting fuel then its getting the fist E fan.

In most driving conditions, that one fan keeps me very cool (maybe even too cool, way under 210). I do also have an hi flow water pump and a champion 3 core radiator.

The second fan is wired to a relay and the switch for the relay is inside the cab so I can control it and turn it on when I want. It works perfect .
