Silver on silver is killer ... maybe my favorite really. With tinted windows it looks so sweet. Can't wait to see !!!

Well I finally finished sealing up the hood cowl.

I sealed up the opening on the drivers side, and made a new opening on the passenger side, so if water does get in it’s as far from the intake as possible.

To seal up the cowl I use silicone and the inside of an old XJ fender liner that was cut out when we put a JCR bumper on my buddies XJ.

Here’s some pic’s:

And as always, got to though in at least one wheel pic ... Testing out the T-case drop.

So, one day while an old jeep was broken and in need of repair, a mini van was for sale for $75 and a 12pk of naddy ice. Thought we do some wheeling … The video is a little slow at first, but for sure worth watching, thought I would post it up.

Maybe I should start a new thread with this… Humm… Things to do while your jeep is broke??

Well, here it is...enjoy

So, the jeep seems to be running well, so I felt like it was time to do some product testing in an old river bed. Got stuck… A friend in a back hoe saved the xj!! … Back to the garage.

Yeah. Street tires don't do jack even in a jeep. lol What tire/size are you thinking about for the future?

How'd ya get stuck?

I got stuck the other day for the first time too. Thought I'd have to call someone out, but I was able to rock it back and forth by shoving it from R to D and turning the wheels opposite directions when I shifted. Had it in 4Lo. It was pretty awesome, considering I've never gotten stuck and haven't had instructions on what to do when it does happen. Haha. I put th pics up in my thread.

Man those tires suck… I really need lockers and a winch.
I would love to go with a little more lift, like 5.5 and 34 mt’s but I think that really depends on if I get lucky and find a dana 44 or some other axle swap in my price range. I have been holding off on the SYE until I give up on looking for an axle, that way I don’t have to buy a cv shaft twice.

If I do get an axle, ill probably just build it, get an SYE, and add some lift all at once. The only bad part about doing that, which scares me, is if I get some bad vibes or something changing all that stuff at once makes it hard to trouble shoot. I guess it’s just a process.

But I have been junk yard hunting for that 44. I found one the other day but the guy wanted 500, and that was just a little too much for me now, because I’ll still have to build the thing too…. So I guess will see, for now I’m going to ride these tires out until they wear out and work on some other stuff.
If I don’t find an axle, I will probably just look the ones I have(8.25) and run 33’s.

****off topic***** I check out your photography and its AWESOME!!! Man that really is a sweet hobby!! Love it man!

Just some updates ....... I have done some good engine work .... Ill take some pics later, but I had the head milled 0.0025 of an inch, I put on a 2000 intake manifold, neon injectors(still need to install them), I chopped the mechanical fan and went electric, high flow water pump, all aluminum radiator, msd(need to put that in too), header, iron rock exhaust, 7 new sensors ...lol ... I changed them all (still need to finish chaning the wires and grounds).... Well I'll post some pics of the engine later ... But here's some picks. I have been away for awhile .. But I should be home for a while so it's jeep time.
