When my belt got ripped off ...It got stuck in the e-fan and pulled the trans oil line into the mix .... Since then I have been leaking a lot ..... I think it's leaking from the oil return fitting ....so I'm going to fix that and put a cooler in at the same time

So I installed the trans cooler and picked up a new one too, so installed both and made an attempt to stop my trans oil leak. The leak was coming from the oil return and caused when my belt ripped off and snagged the return line... as a result it striped the theads in the bung enough that it leaked ... a lot.

Fixing it was a FAIL .... it tryed to re-tap .. Fail .. then jb weld .. Fail ... I could have brought it somewhere to get welded and have made something work ... but I decided to totally bypass the stock cooling all together and just run bigger after market coolers ...

here is the first shot pics ... the first two coolers and my fail of a leak repair

so heres where I finished for tonight .. after dropping the small cooler and adding the big one. I think it should be enough cooling .. I really don't know the power of the stock trans cooling, but I dont think its much really .. so I think I'm cool ..

And while I had the bumper off.. I hit the bumper and the grill with some bedliner .. it looks soooo much better .. and I also started the two tone on the front fenders ...

I wish I could have swaped the headlights and harness while I had the front clip off .. but oh well ... Ill prob end up keeping the stock lights and just get off road lights and a light bar for the rack.

So the stock radiator had a part for the engine coolant and a part for the trans oil .. but i think the part for the trans oil is really small .. i think its just the side pannel of the drivers side .. the intake and return are both on that side top and bottom .. so I think this is a lot more cooling power .. I'll just have to get a gauge soon and keep an eye on it.

Oh **** yeah dude. I pretty positive its gonna be way better than stock cooling. Especially since it is its own cooler.
