I can smell the paint fumes from here!

Looks great man! You put down any primer?

What was the turn around from order to receiving the JCR stuff?

No ... Just cleaned well with alcohol, then bedlined. I did spray the nut strip with primer because the bedliner is kinda think and I didn't want to get it in the treads.

I think it took about 2wks to get everything, not bad. The quality is A++, stuff is mint, workmanship is perfect, material is solid. I'm really happy with it.

Thanks for making me jealous Seriously thanks, because now I want to pour more money into my Jeep. You layed that paint on super clean. Cannot wait to see it all mounted up and on the trail.

I know the feeling .. I spend 85% of my extra cash on the jeep lately ...

That dupicolor sprays nice as long as you shake it a lot while your spraying, if you don't shake well it become a bit inconsistent, but if you do your easy money.

Good news bad news time ..........

Well got the bumper and skid on, it's perfect. The bumper had some room adjustment so it was easy to get it to fit perfect with the quarter panels. The mounting is good. The bolts were not long enough to go though the bumper frame tie in's and the gas skid, the bolts needed to be 1" longer. I just used the bolts with no washers for now, but I will have to go back and change them,... but no big deal at all. Also to work with the skid, I turned the bumper frame tie in's upside down and switched the left and right side, then they lined up perfect. Install took about 4-5 hours of easy slow work. All in all A+, I'm really happy with it.

...

The bad news begins with me breaking my phone again for the second time in one week. Both times I broke the glass and the LCD. The first time I got it fixed for $100 and then I broke it again 2 days later, so I just went back to some old $hitty phone I found.

I usually use my IPad to get on JF and take pics and stuff.... but I did an awesome job of dropping my IPad when cleaning up after install and broke the glass and the LCD ... way to go Luke ... I don't even want to know how much that's going to cost to fix ..@#$#$%%$%$%. I even had the lifeproof case too ... not so lifeproof.

Anyways I took some good pics of the bumper, but their on the Ipad ... so no pics for now. I may have one of my buddy's grab a few pics in the mean time. I think Apple produces are designed for VDUB owners not jeep owners... I how the next IPad and Phone is Crawl Proof ... lol Dear JCR, please make new IPAD

I also extended the roof rack this week, I added about 25" to it, so it extends the full length of the roof now. I'm not sure if I like it or not, I will have to wait untill I get new lights and see how it looks, I may cut it back about 5-6".

ill try and post some pics of the rack today.

And I was driving this week and the serpentine belt ripped apart and got sucked up in the electric fan and pulled into the mix the trans line to the radiator, coolant was everywhere. I think I have that all fixed now and the jeep is running well again.

here is some pics of the new rack. I want to get a 50" Hamna LED light bar for the front. 2 of the 4" square LED's for both sides, and 4 of the 4" square LED's for the back... that't to bad. $350 in LED lights and I should be set for the rack. I also want to get 2 7" HID lights for the ARB bumper.

I also have hinges and a lock for the MJ tailgate ( i decided to use a garage door lock ... we'll see how that goes). So I'm ready to put that on ... I need to sand it down and paint it next. Hopefully this week maybe.
