Here's some more pics of the cowl intake. I just posted some half- way done pic's. I still am going to seal up the cowl a bit more but here is the finished product... I like the way it sounds too. I switched the stock filter for a K&N.

I think the wheels will look better when I get bigger tires.
The cowl intake looks really good and well planned out. I'd be worried about water and crap getting in there, but I guess it's the same as a snorkel.
Keep it up!
It drives really well. I just got it aligned yesterday. Here is were I’m at;
After I got it aligned yesterday I was going to do a T-Case drop just for a short term fix.
…….. You probably already know what I’m going to say …….
@#$@#$ those studs …errr
I got one out ok, after a little work. The second one no go.
-Tried the double nut trick w/heat
-Tried flatting the sides with the dermal and backing it out …no go w/heat
- Tried the easy out … that broke …err
- Tried drilling a hole though the stud, parallel and using a small screwdriver to back it out… no go.
So .. I put it back to stock hight. Sometime this week I’m just going to drill it out and re tap it with a new bolt
Here’s a pick of the demon bolt with the broken easy out (not so easy)…. I feel like this is the equivalent of giving the jeep a root canal.
While I was waiting for the alignment a fellow xj’er and I did a little driving, to end on a good note (I’m still pissed about that stud …errr)
